Persecution of an elector / John H. Jacocks, Esq.; by false imprisonment in the Retreat at Hartford, and by depriving him of his constitutional right of suffrage, three weeks previous to the election, on first April, 1844, and so confining him from the sight of his children and associates, and his own choice of a physician, for nearly three months, with the hope of concealing his false imprisonment, by Roger S.
