The poll of the electors for Members of Parliament to represent the city of Canterbury Taken by Henry Simmons, Gent. Sheriff, The 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th Days of May, 1796, and printed under his particular direction and authority. Candidates, John Baker, Esq. S. E. Sawbridge, Esq. George Gipps, Esq. Sir J. Honywood, Bart. Shewing for which of them every person voted, with the names of those whose Votes were not Taken, And the reasons why they were objected to. With the very able and manly Decision of the Recorder of Canterbury thereon, (who acted at counsel to the Sheriff).
