    A conference held at St. George's in the county of York, on the twentieth day of September ... 1753 : between Sir William Pepperrell, baronet, Jacob Wendell, Thomas Hubbard, and John Winslow, esqrs, and Mr. James Bowdoin, Commissioners appointed by His Excellency William Shirley, esq, captain general and governour in chief, in and over His Majesty's province of the Massachusetts-Bay in New-England, to treat with the Eastern Indians of the one part, and the Indians of the Penobscott tribe of the other part.
