A catalogue of pictures collected abroad by Mr. Edmund Glover, who is going to reside at Oporto , Consisting of several valuable painting by Old Palma, Castiglione, Guerchino, Rembrandt, Dominichino, P. Brill, Vandervelde, D. Teniers, Claude, Solimene, Bott, N. Poussin, &c. Also some curious bronzes: Which will be sold by auction, at Mr. Ford's great room in the Hay-Market, on Tuesday the 16th, Wednesdy the 17th, and Thursday the 18th of this instant March. -And on Friday the 19th, and the following days, - will be sold by auction, at Mr. Ford's, a collection of curious old Japan China, in jars, beakers, bowls, dishes, &c. several pieces of the brown edge, and some exceedings fine dresden. Rare old India Japan, in cabinets, chests, &c. beautiful inlaid tables; soem fashionable plate, jewels, watches, snuff-boxes, mathematical instruments, various curiosities, and rich lace heads of the newest pattern: likewise a chamber organ of an exceeding fine tone, two harpsichords, a chariot, &c. The said collections of pictures, China, &c. may be view'd at Mr. Ford's on Friday the 12th, and the following days till the time of sale, which will begin each day exactly at half on hour after eleven o'clock. A catalogue of the entire collection of prints , drawings, books of prints, Paintings in Water-Colours, Coins, Bronzes and Books, of Mr. James Vertue, (late of Bath) painter, Deceased. A catalogue of the entire collection of pictures, medals, prints, drawings, and books of prints, of Edward Wright, Esq; (deceas'd) late of Stratton in Cheshire . Which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Ford, at his house the upper end of St. James's Haymarket, on Friday the 1st of February 1754. The whole to be view'd to the time of sale, which (for the pictures) will begin exactly at twelve o'clock; and for the prints and drawings, &c. half an hour after five in the evening. Consisting of the most capital Works of Raphael, Rubens, Rembrandt, Poussin, Jul. Romano, Vandyck, Jordans, Teniers, &c. And a large Collection of Heads and Portraits by Drevet, Edelinck, Masson, Mellan, and Other eminent French and English Masters. Which will be Sold by Auction, By Mr. Ford, At his Great Room the upper End of St. James's Haymarket, On Wednesday the 16th of this Instant March, 1757, and the Five following Evenings, Sunday excepted. A catalogue of the household furniture of Mr. Henry Watson, (deceasd) (late steward to the Rt. Hon. the Earl of Bath) brought from his late dwelling-house in Clarges-street, Piccadilly . The whole consisting of crimson, yellow, blue and other damask beds, and window-curtains, mahogany and walnut-tree chairs, rich sconces, book-cases and buroes; together with a collection of pictures by the best masters some china, curious hench metal chandeliers, Japan cabinets, Turkey and other carpets, gold watches, plate and jewels, several pieces of fine Hollands, and table-linen, two harpsichords, and other musical instruments, some curious antique earthen vases, &c. and other curiosities. Which will be sold by auction, on Thursday the 10th of this instant November 1743; and the following days, at Mr. Ford's in the Hay-Market. The whole may be viewed on Monday the 7th, and the following days, till the time of sale, which will begin at half an hour after eleven precisely.
