By learning them to know the letters in the several usual prints, the true sounds of dipthongs, then syllables of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 letters, all the rules of spelling, which are exemplified in several chapters. To which are added, chapters to learn the stops and marks, the numeral letters and figures and the usual abbreviations.
