    A list of the nominees appointed by the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's treasury , To hold shares on the part of the public in the tontine of the year 1789: in pursuance of an act of Parliament, made and passed in the thirtieth year of the reign of Our Most Gracious Sovereign King George the Third, intituled, "An act for converting certain annuities, to be "attended with the benefit of survivorship, in classes, "established by an act of the last session of Parliament, into "certain annuities for an absolute term of years; and for "enabling the commissioners of the treasury to nominate lives "for the shares so converted.".
