Gli amanti ridicoli, the ridiculos lovers A comic opera, as perform'd at the King's-Theatre in the Hay-Market. The music by Signor Galuppi, commonly call'd Signor Buranello, except whatever is mark'd with a star *, which is composed by Signor Felice Alessandri, under whose direction the whole is executed. The poetry is originally by the son of Signor Galuppi, commonly call'd Buranello; alter'd and considerably increased by Signor G.G. Bottarelli, by whom is the Trio in the second act, and all the third act. The English by the translator of the Viaggiatori Ridigoli, who finding the stile of this of a lower ind, tho' not inelegant, was oblied to conform to the original.
