A catalogue of the libraries of a learned gentleman, his lady , and an Eminent Practitioner of the Law, all Deceased. Consisting of very good Collection of Valuable Books in several Sciences and Languages: viz. History, Divinity, Law, Travels, Physick, Surgery, Mathematicks, Architecture, Books of Prints and Drawings, Husbandry and Trade, Poetry, Plays, Romances, Novels, Dictionaries, Lexicons and Classicks, cum. Not. var. & in usum Delph. Several large Paper, and best Binding, Gilt and Letter'd, in English, Latin, Greek, French, Italian and Spanish. With a Collection of Sermons of the best Authors, bound and stitch'd; and Manuscript Law and History. Which will begin to be sold very Cheap, (the Price being marked in each Book) at Dan. Browne's at the Black-Swan without Temple-Bar, on Tuesday the 9th of this Instant July, 1723. Bibliotheca Dickensoniana: or, a catalogue of the library of the late learned William Dickenson, One of the Chirurgeons of St. Thomas Hospital Containing A Choice Collection of very Ancient and Valuable Books, in most Languages and Faculties, chiefly Physick, Chirurgery, Chymistry; Divinity, Philology, History, in Greek, Latin, Spanish, Italian, French, and English; and of the most celebrated Printers, viz. Aldus, Vascosan, Colinaeus, Plantin, Gryphium, Rob. Hen. & Car. Stephens, Caxton, Wynken de Word, Pynson, &c. amongst which are a large Collection of very ancient Bibles and Common-Prayers in Folio, and the First Edition of Homer, very fair; with several Mss. on Vellum. Divinity, History, (especially English) Voyages and Travels, Husbandry and Trade, Architecture and Prints, Physick, Mathematicks, Musick, Law Common, Civil, and Canon, Lives and Memoirs, Poetry and Romances, Classicks cum Not. Var. & Delph. and most other School-Authors, Dictionaries and Grammars, in most Languages; viz. Greek, Latin, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Low-Dutch. Also a large collection of the London ministers tracts against popery, Sermons, Plays, and other choice stitch'd tracts, in several sciences, with manuscripts.
