    A sad and deplorable, but true account of the dreadful hardships, and sufferings of Capt. John Dean , and his company, on board the Nottingham Galley, who were castaway on the rocks call'd Boon Island, near New England: Shewing how they liv'd near a Month upon the Rock, in between Frost and Snow, some losing their Feet, Toes, Nails, with the use of their Limbs, and some their Lives. Also, how having no Food, they were fain to Feed upon the Dead Bodies, which being all Consum'd, they were going to cast Lots which shou'd be next Devour'd: At length how the Remainder of them were Miraculousiy Preserv'd by the Providence of God, and brought to Shore, some of which are now in England. This Account being Attested by the Captain's own Hand, and two others, and very well known by most Merchants upon the Royal Exchange.
