James Gardiner Collection: Private album containing photographs of young men.

Photograph album containing a series of young men in a number of physique and casual poses inside the home, within a hospital, on a beach and within vehicles in full length and close up shots. Some locations within the photographs are recognisable as Brighton. There are also a few suggestive photographs of a man near naked in a posing pouch. Inside the front cover a list of 41 men first names'; some are repeated underneath the photographs and some dated from 1957 and 1958. There is evidence that more photographs were originally pasted into the album that have since been lost or removed.
