Photograph of two Bapedi boys making fire in Sekhukhuneland, a region of north-east South Africa. The Bapedi (or Pedi) are an ethnic group from southern Africa The photograph was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in December 1936 (accession number PHO 9078).
