Description

Photograph of a wooden and iron rattle used by Azande traditional healers in Central Africa. It was purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1928 and accessioned in 1943 (accession number R117/1943). It was removed from the Museum's holdings in February 1966.
