Biographical note

Corporate photography was one of the main services of the Medical Photographic Library (MPL). The photographers documented activities, events and people relating to the work and interests of the Wellcome Trust at onsite, offsite and international locations. The images they captured were catalogued by the MPL and made available for internal use, including in Wellcome publications such as Wellcome News and annual reports and reviews. Today, corporate photography continues to be carried out by Wellcome's in-house photography team.

Ownership note

Created and kept by the Medical Photographic Library (later Wellcome Images) until the department was wound down in 2017, at which point the albums were transferred to the archive.
