Painting of a blonde female figure being placed in a boiling pot by a man holding large tongs on a black ground. Inscription painted by the creator on the front, partially obscured due to loss at the bottom of the sheet. Creator's name and the date of creation are inscribed on the reverse, probably by Edward Adamson.
