  • RAMC/761/3/18: Copy of a report on medical administration during Rommel's advance before the Battle of El Alamein (31 July), and the British advance thereafter, 1942. With appendices re evacuation of casualties, dispersal of stores, etc.
  • RAMC/761/3/19: Reports re adaptations of Casualty Clearing Stations to meet conditions during the advance from El Alamein. With sketch plans of layout, 1942.
  • RAMC/761/3/20: Statistics re wartime strengths of the medical services in Middle East Land Forces and outline of a lecture by the DMS on their role. With chart showing inter-relationship between different branches, August 1942.
  • RAMC/761/3/21: Statistics re sick rates in the Middle East, and copy of a report on medical arrangements, both from the period of the advance from El Alamein, 1942. ("Extracted from the personal file of the late DMS, 21 Army Group" [Major General Tomlinson]).
