Anni Khan, Consultant - Obstetrics and Gynaecology Senior Registrar at Newham University Hospital, filmed in artist's studio in October 2020.
In 2020 Dr. Anni Khan worked in the Gynaecology Department at the hospital, caring for pregnant women, patients experiencing miscarriages, and those arriving through emergency settings and clinics. She also participated in surgical procedures when required. In her interview, Dr. Khan shares her experience of working at the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. She reflects on the risks involved, the fear of the unknown, and describes it as the most challenging time of her career.
