About this work
Description
Photograph of two bon flageolets, whistle instruments similar to the recorder. The one on a cord is of unknown provenance and was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1932 (accession number R47789). The other is of unknown provenance, possibly South African, and was purchased at auction by the Museum in 1930 and given accession number A88480. The items were transferred to the University of California, Los Angeles in 1966.
