Photograph of a model, ivory on wood, of a dissection scene showing Nicholas Tulp lecturing to members of the Surgeons's Guild at Amsterdam, 1632. It is based on the Rembrandt oil painting "The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp". The item was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1932 and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R2338/1936). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
