Written in a number of different hands, and some cuttings and manuscript items pasted in. Several recipes attributed and dated.Culinary material includes a number of wine and brewing recipes (e.g. Mrs Heasley's mead wine, p 12).Numerous medical recipes, mostly for common ailments and first aid, with some invalid cooking, but including "For cholera", p 59, and pasted in cutting "The cholera" p 161.
