Copies of patient correspondence

Copies of letters sent to Richard Worthington Smithells and other medical professionals about various individuals possibly affected by Thalidomide and their Y list assessments (including copies of medical documents), copies of letters regarding revision of the points scheme in the 1980s and a copy of a report of the Thalidomide Trust National Advisory Council meeting held 6 November 1993. Many of the papers contain Newman's annotations.

It is not clear when the copies were made, nor when they were annotated by Newman, though one is a fax dated 1995. The original documents that the copies are taken from date from 1961 to 1993.
