Page 1 of 2 from a manuscript titled "Quinine Operations, 1835, and onwards", by John Eliot Howard (1807-1883) in his own handwriting. The reproduction is from the manuscript lent by Howard & Sons, Ltd., Ilford, London, and exhibited in Malaria section of the international celebration and exhibition : three hundredth anniversary of the first recognized use of cinchona by Europeans, 1630-1930 hosted by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1930.
