There are gaps in the date coverage of this volume From 1 April 1799 to 30 March 1799 there are columns for the weekly cost of the following: meat, flour and oatmeal, tea etc, groceries, candles, soap, starch and blue, coals, malt, hops, wine, brandy, beer etc, cheese, sundries. The next few pages cover the period 4 February 1805 to end of September 1807 and have columns for cost of washing per named patient per week or fortnight (or longer). A summary of cost of washing per patient for the year 1807 follows There then once more begins a weekly analysis of cost per item (similar columns for items as before).
