Tinted photograph, formerly glass-framed, produced by Art Institute Orell Füssli, 61 Ludgate Hill, London. With printed signature: "Yours faithfully S M Burroughs". Set within a wide border that mimics a mount.

The photograph (without tinting) was issued as a memorial supplement by the British and Colonial Druggist, 15 February, 1895 (see WF/E/02/02/18), where it is signed "Yours truly."
