Description

Photograph of a ring of plaited fibre. It originates from what was at the time the Belgian Congo and was purchased at auction in the United Kingdom by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1928 and accessioned in 1939 (accession number R299/1939). It was removed from the Museum's holdings in 1965
