Description

Bag from Ankole, Uganda. It was presented to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum by the Reverend J.Roscoe in 1920 and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R5440/1936). It is not held by Wellcome Collection. The item was exhibited in the Museum's exhibition "Medicine of the Aboriginal Peoples in the British Commonwealth" held in 1952.
