Description

Photograph of two wooden drums. The first is hourglass shaped and thought to be Indian. It was purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Musuem in 1930 and given accession number A172011. The other is egg cup shaped and thought to be from Central India or Myanmar. It was purchased at auction by the Museum in 1931 and given accession number A171072. Both drums were transferred to the Fowler Musuem, University of California, Los Angeles in 1966
