Photograph of six monaural stethoscopes designed by either Fergusson or Stokes, 19th century. They were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1918, 1923, 1936 and 1955, accession numbers (left to right): R10146, R2556/1936, R2558/1936, R2290/1936, R14809 and R92/1955. They are not held by Wellcome Collection. Four are now held by the Science Museum (object numbers A625032, A159956, A625028 and A625024).
