Papers relating to the compiling and writing of the third edition, including texts of various chapters or parts of chapters, various versions of the contributors list and contents list, some information on the publishing and marketing for the book, papers relating to the front cover design by Rosen, a few miscellaneous cuttings and letters to contributors. File also contains hand-written version of Rosen's formal book proposal and a copy of the final submitted proposal.

The chapters or chapter extracts are: 'A general psychiatric approach to sexual deviation' by B. Brockman and R. Bluglass (labelled 'superceded'), 'Child Sexual Abuse' by Kolvin and Trowell (labelled 'draft 20/8/94'), part of 'Reflections on homsexuality in women' by Joyce McDougall (labelled 'omitted material'), parts of an untitled paper, on child sexual abuse, probably Rosen's chapter 'Adult sequelae of childhood sexual abuse'.
