Description
Photograph of a large sculpted foot, likely to be a votive offering or the foot from a very large Roman statue. It was purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1925 and accessioned in 1926 (accession number R27169) and again in 1936 (accession number R578/1936).
