Photograph of a framed oil painting of a physician taking a woman's pulse. A caption attached to the frame titles the work 'The Doctor' and attributes the work to an unidentified artist, after Jan Steen, likely for display in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum.. The painting was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 9th August 1939 (P1329/1939).
