Description

Photograph of two Dutch pharmacy jars. One is white and decorated with a peacock and basket of flowers and inscribed "C.ROSARUM: RUB", 18th century. It was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1926 (accession number R17076). The other has a console motif and is inscribed "U.ALBUM" with makers mark "Die Grieve A". It was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1940 (accession number R2132/1940). Neither are held by Wellcome Collection.
