Description
Photograph of a display board from a Charles Scott Sherrington exhibition for the Symposium on the History and Philosophy of the Knowledge of the Brain, 15-17 July 1957. The board shows photographs and drawings of Sherrington's research room at Oxford, 1928, appuratus used in his analysis of reflex centres and a human cardiogram. Charles Scott Sherrington (1857-1952) was an English neurophysiologist, histologist, bacteriologist and pathologist.
