The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "A trio dressed in the ornate feather-bedecked costumes associated with spectacular revues at the Folies Bergeres, Le Moulin Rouge, and other large music-halls in Paris. The two characters standing are certainly men; the third character may be a woman."
