Two images on one negative. One the left is a photograph of Timothy Richards Lewis (1841-1886) Welsh surgeon and pathologist, presented to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum by Colonel W.H. Lewis. Related images: V0026705FA. One the right is a photograph of Emily Frances Lewis nee Brown (d.1921), wife of Thomas Richards Lewis, taken in Cassel shortly after their marriage in 1879. The negative was made from a photograph lent to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum by Colonel Lewis and then returned.
