Photograph of an illustration from Martin, Albert, Deutsches Badewesen in vergangenen Tagen : nebst einem Beitrage zur Geschichte der Deutschen Wasserheilkunde, Jena: Eugen Diederichs, 1906, after a 16th century woodcut by Hans Sebald Benham, depicting a woman's bath house with caption in German underneath. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 29th August 1935 (PHO 4222).
