Description
A reproduction of a photograph of a statue of General Gordon, seated on a camel, located in Khartoum in Sudan, circa 1906. This statue stood in front of the palace in Khartoum prior to Sudan's indepdence in 1956. General Gordon (1833-1885) was a British Army officer and administrator.
