Description
Photograph of x-ray tube for therapeutic work, Cossor's first pattern. It was used at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, 1903-1906, and is an earlier type of x-ray tube than that in M0015842. The item was presented to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1954 and accessioned in 1956 (accession number R155/1956). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
