Description
Two images on one negative. One is a photograph of a reproduction of a photograph of a Greek icon of the 9th or 10th century depicting St. Pantaleon. The source of the reproduction is unknown. The original icon is held by the Kondakoff Institute, Prague. The other image is a photograph of an unidentified outdoor church or shrine. The photographs were compiled by Captain Johnston-Saint, a Wellcome Historical Medical Museum employee, for his Royal Society of Medicince lecture in 1938.
