Description

Photograph of two votive offerings of teeth made in pottery., 3rd-1st century B.C., found in Italy. One set was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R2505/1936). The other offering is in the shape of a double tooth. It was acquired by the Museum as part of the Gorga Collection and was accessioned in 1936 (accession number R3806/1936)
