    METHOD, - wey Co Bovp, M.D; Long Beach, Cal. a the British Medical Journal (July 8, torr), rt. Albert Abrams, of San Francisco, reports forty _ cases of aneurysm of the thoracic and abdominal aorta treated by his method of concussion of the enth cervical spine. His method is practically a ecific in a disease which has heretofore baffled our s, and it creates an epoch in therapeutica! and elevates physiological therapeutics to of distinction in the armamentarium of the sician. The results of the discoverer have been eved in a few weeks, and some of his patients > seen, after three and four years, with abso‘utely recurrence of symptoms. All of his cases were ir advanced in the disease. Dr. L. St. John Hely orted a case of aneurysm of the thoracic aorta edical Record, May 21, 1910), treated by ramss. method. The aneurysm had perforated > wall of the chest. Within one week all the iptoms disappeared, and fourteen months after patient's discharge, he was as well as at the time dismissal. I shall not endeavor to detad the author’s method - cure nor its rationale, insomuch as both are ex- E istively discussed in his book, Spondylotherapy. The following is the history of a patient with aneurysm of the thoracic aorta showing sympto- 3 ~ matic cure after treatment lasting about two weeks.
