Description
Impressions from two cylinder seals. On the left is a black stone seal incised with a conventional design. It was purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1929 and accessioned in 1938 (R2379/1938). The other seal is Assyrian and is made of soapstone and incised with crudely cut images of seated a figure and an animal. It was purchased at auction by the Museum in 1931 and accessioned in 1938 (accession number R2380/1938)
