Comprises twenty-four sub-folders containing: ENCODE meeting papers; manuscripts and figures for publications; meeting paper abstracts; data, graphs and data analysis files; correspondence; workshop papers; papers from the chromatin group; papers from the ENCODE Data Management Working Group; papers regarding ENCODE project organisation. Related papers are in GRL/IDN/F/37-38 and GRL/IDN/F/71.

ENCODE (Encyclopedia of DNA Elements) is an international collaboration of research groups funded by the National Human Genome Research Institute aimed at identifying the functional elements in the human genome. The project began as a pilot in 2003.
