Description

Two carved wooden panels. The left one depicts St. Anne with the Vrgin Mary and infant Jesus Christ and the one on the right depicts an adult Jesus Christ bound to a pillar. They were purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1934 and accessioned in 1938 (accession numbers R562/1938 and R563/1938). They are not held by Wellcome Collection.
