Photograph of six portable and collapsible stethoscopes designed by Roberts, c.1885. The two on the right are similar to examples illustrated by Krohne and Sesemann, 1901. They were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1936, 1941 and 1955, accession numbers (left to right): R2281/1936, R2412/1936, R2272/1936, RR289/1941 and R74/1955.
