Weber and Michels: Cancer of extrahepatic bile ducts and hepatostomy 1905

This includes cuttings etc on 'cranio-facial dysostosis' and 'exophthalmic hemalopsis'. Oxycephaly, and on Crouzon's acrocephaly-syndactyly. On 'Inflammatory tuberculosis' and Tumour-like or cancer-like} 'tuberculous growths' in the abdomen, stomach, colon etc (hyperplastic tuberculous pericolitis and chronic hypertrophy of the mucous membrane of the colon simulating cancer of hyperplastic tuberculosis). On the various methods of draining bile away externally (hepatostomy included),--emaciation as an occasional result of loss of bile by a biliary fistula. Various interesting cases of obstruction in extrahepatic bile ducts including adenomata. Also contains some notes and cuttings on 'gelatinous' or 'mucoid' transformation of bone marrow. Contains also some notes and cuttings on experimental evidence regarding the relation of urobilinuria to jaundice (see notes of Friedrich Daitz's case, 1910). Contains also notes etc of the effect of intestinal 'acholia'. Contains also notes etc regarding the urine in cases of obstructive jaundice. Various operative methods in cases of complete (or incomplete) obstructive jaundice (from pancreatic cancer etc) see also second series of this collection.
