Description
Photograph of a statue of the Ancient Greek goddess Hygeia standing, holding snake and bowl out before her. It is a cast of an orginal held by the Louvre. Paris. The cast was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1935 (accession number 42/1935). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
