<li>RAMC/223/2: Appointment as assistant surgeon in the East India Company, 1844.</li>
<li>RAMC/223/3: Commission as assistant surgeon in the Queen's Army of the East Indies, 1844.</li>
<li>RAMC/223/4: Commission as surgeon in the Queen's Army of the East Indies, 1858.</li>
