In a file marked "Vittorio's Statistics", a draft text (typescript), including Figures, of Vittorio Luzzati, "Sur l'emploi des méthodes statistiques dans l'étude de la structure cristalline des proteines," together with a covering letter (3 August, 1953, on Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn headed paper) from Luzzati addressed to Dr M F Perutz at the Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge.

Luzzati writes: "Il s'agit d'une rédaction préliminaire, que j'ai l'intention de modifier avant de la publier. Je serais très heureux de recevoir vos critiques."
