088645/Z/09/Z: Beachy Head: Further Research and Final Production (DVD)

Project Summary:Beachy Head is an inventive new theatre piece looking at the repercussions of one man's decision to take his life from three perspectives- emotional, bio-medical and artistic. Following a successful Wellcome Trustfunded research phase in 2008, Analogue will now finish the piece and premiere it at the 2009 Edinburgh Festival. The project involves a stage of further research to consolidate and extend the valuable contributions made by our scientific collaborators (a histopathologist and a social scientist}, followed by a period of rehearsal and a three week run at the word's largest arts festival, sharing the work with wider audiences.
