Photograph of a page of drawings by William Cheselden (1688-1752) English surgeon, showing chalk stones in aortic semi lunar valves, of a bone taken from the falx cerebri, and from between the ventricles of the heart. At the time the photograph was taken the manuscript was held by the Royal Society, though it may now be held by the Royal College of Surgeons.
